Poem – Gossip

They talk about them

They talk plenty mean stuff

Then they talk about them

Some true and a lot of fluff

They talk ‘bout marriages

That never should have been

How unkempt were their homes

And monstrous little ones they’d seen

They’d better find something smarter

Their words hurting more than knives

Wounding souls, marring character

Their idle talk ruining lives
